I started my first garden when i was in my early 20s and my young body had youthful stamina and flexibility. 20 years later i’m reaching the time officially known as middle-aged and like clockwork I become aware of the limits of my aging body. I don’t know about you but i would like to garden for as long as i live. I want to be able to weed, plant and harvest until my days are done, but these activities include bending over for long periods, and lifting or carrying weighted objects, which have already caused great strain and chronic problems to my back.
