Are You a Lazy Gardener?

Are You a Lazy Gardener?

Most of us are lazy gardeners, people who have busy lives but still like the idea of the smell of just mown grass, cool earth, fragrant flowers, the joy of a bloom, and the taste of fresh picked produce.

They also want the most from their gardens with the least effort.

The secret to leisurely gardening is good organization

If you tend a garden for the sheer joy of it, you don’t want to be a slave to it. Gardeners who are successfully lazy are those who have planned effectively. They have organized the layout of the garden, the choice of plants, and a schedule of maintenance on a regular basis.Five minutes now, will save an hour of grief in the future.

Paradise is a garden, so when you create a garden make sure it is, for you, more paradise than punishment.

Ask yourself the following question;

How much time do I want to spend working the land?
Do flowers justify their maintenance?
How large a garden can I keep under control?
Do I have the courage to change the garden?
Have my needs changed over the years?

When you answer these questions honestly, you will have a better idea of just what kind of garden you want or can maintain.

There is nothing pretty about a garden that started out looking lovely, only to end up a pile of weeds.

Gardening to me is a passion that I give into constantly, but not everyone feels the same.

The garden can be a source of food and flowers , and of course, a sanctuary, a nature preserve, and a place for the family to be together.

The passionate gardener.
