Lighting Your Garden
There are, typically, four main types of lighting that people can use in their gardens. They are: flood lighting, ambience lighting, security lighting, and feature lighting. These can be used alone or in combinations to highlight different parts of your garden, and bring it alive at night!
Flood lights are normally mounted to a house or a tree so that it is easy to see at night. This is a good idea if a person is planning on showcasing their garden or entertaining outside. Security lights are beneficial for those who live in areas where they need to check out what may be getting into their garden during the nighttime hours. These lights will help keep pesky critters at bay.
If a person is hoping to achieve different kinds of lightning such as colored bulbs, than they should consider ambience lighting. This type of visual can be achieved with candles, globe lights and lanterns.
Tiki lights can also be added for those who entertain in their garden. They can be purchased in package form which is the most popular way to buy ambient light fixtures.
Feature lights are a great way to add a visual appeal to a particular tree, plant, an area of rocks, or whatever else one would need to stand out. These lights add intensity to the areas which need attention at night.
Whichever area of the garden one wishes to illuminate, there is a type of lighting that will meet their satisfaction through these four main types of lights.
