How do i plant them? what plant pot shall i use? and what soil? etc.. I really do no nothing so any other information would be great!

I have tried both, and growing from supermarket plants that they sell for cooking use is fairly easy. transfer them to a bigger pot and they are fine, I keep them on a window ledge.

Easy as falling off a flower pot! I’ve written a book called Herb Gardening, but for loads of free info about growing herbs, pop over to my website http://www.flower-and-garden-tips.com – Choose ‘herbs’ from the menu.
Before you start, you should make sure you have a good place to keep the pots – must be a bright spot in the house. Then buy 4 or 6 inch pots ( with saucers to save water going everywhere ) and a bag of seed or potting compost. You’ll need small stones for drainage as well. Also, it’s a good idea to buy seed or young plants from a reputable supplier
Hope this helps
